today was the experience of the lifetime. cos it was the onli time i got to do it along wif my sec 4 guitar frens.
this must be the first time there has been a panel of 7 interviewers. lolol. interviewing one person at a time, and arguing while interviewing. the juniors must have been pretty intimidated by all the 'relax' and 'take your time's. anyways, i guess we learnt a lot from the interview today, and i can see one who clearly stands out as next years president. tml will be conducting interview for one absent interviewee and deciding on next year's committee.
anyways, cant wait for tml, but not realli keen on nxt week.. theres 2 tests and one assignment all due on wednesday.. stress stress.
heyy. jus got another sudden urge to blog again.
today went to church as usual.. somehow the youth group seemed smaller than usual. yeah. sermon was on marriage, divorce, and remarriage by uncle siow hwee. hahah altho im too young i still found it quite interesting. aft a few of us went harbourfront for lunch, then aft tt me, shawn and nehe went back to church to catch a bit of the agm. LOL it was so funny. we came in when uncle KC was talking abt missions.. then aft tt was kelvin on the youths.. then my father on accounts!!!! hahahah. i must commend him for all that knowledge of the going abts of the church manz. he can practically remember every single expenditure made by the church recorded in that super kanfusing list of records. lol and to tink im going to study econs nxt yr. urgh.
hahahah then after that was the elections for chairman, secretary, treasurer, and committee. lol and to think that onli we youths joke and suan each other. u shud have seen the adults man. hahah.. uncle henry mistook aunty mei yin for aunty caroline.. then aft tt he said 'all women look the same to me'.. and me and nehe started laffing like mad. and he was rather cynical to those hu got appointed as the above posts.. like.. like the way we youths suan each other when we got more work to do. hahahah. extremely funny.
hmm lately ive been thinking abt the whole structure of Christianity.. well u see it all started wif a discussion wif my fren on using mechanical instruments in worship.. then he started telling me stuff abt theology. tt is one difficult topic man. its abt whether God exists, why God doesnt seem to be doing anything abt evil in teh world.. etc etc. such that i cried one of the nites last wk cos i was so confused, but for now i have found the answers that i sort of need to carry on wif life. sometimes i wish we had all the answers to life. then everything wud be so easy....
hmm one of the qns or rather situations i was thinking of was why people are becoming Christians in the modern age. Are they looking for salvation, or to be part of a 'in' group? i think what is lacking in this age are strong first generation Christian youths. most of our parents were first generation Christians, and they became Christians based on their love for Christ. is it the same today?
i tried putting myself into my frens shoes.. so i thought of him as if he were me.. and trying to show him the truth.. so i treat him as if he were trying to show me the truth. and that is SO NOT EASY. i also looked at our church's structure to see if there was anything wrong wif it.. it is realli not an easy process. why we do what we do. im still thinking of wad we do during church services. the Bible commands us to come together to take the Lord's Supper together, but there hasnt been a record of a church service in the Bible.. so im still thinking abt tt.

okay. i guess my blog is long overdue for an update. i cant remember the bulk of stuff we did at sch so i will jus blog stuff i remember.
on monday we went to sch and my class found some thread left in our classroom probably by the church that uses the school to conduct church service. so we think of some lame stuff and we pulled off one prank on a teacher such that when the door opened the dustbin collapsed.. and also played a prank on the a maths teacher.. such that when he wanted the duster it suddenly shifted away from his grasp.. wif the help of thread la of cos.. lolol. we are sad.
yeah. so this week has been quite okay.. been thinking abt sch work a lot but not finishing it ahead of anybody i shud. lolz. but quite glad i have more time now that guitar concert is over and i am now sent out of st johns wifout a promotion -.-
had private guitar class earlier.. hahah and my guitar teacher said tt i cud play veri well during concerts or exams.. but i kinda slacked off when it comes to normal lessons. so he made a deal wif me that i need to learn one part of a piece that im not playing for exams veri well.. so that he can correct my mistakes... if not he wud not teach me anything new lololol.

today at church all the lessons were short!! hahah and all on the same day too. nic's lesson during 9:30, Uncle Paul Quek's at 11 and Chern Woon's at 6pm jus now. hahah quite refreshing. today i was looking at my pic on the noticeboard thinking wad i shud speak abt on sept 18.. uncle Henry asked me to speak at 6pm.. and after today i have sort of decided on a topic after being inspired by nic.. hahah i bet he doesnt even noe abt this. yeap so must come and support me kay? :)
went out wif shawn, irvin, andrea and hannah in the afternoon. went to fish and co.. my first time there hahah.. the food was real good. also bought lemon oil polish from yamaha at ps.

okay. today was quite slack in school. or rather i was quite slack. my brain is in quite a terrible state. im falling asleep during physics, chem, and maths. and they are supposed to be my niche subjects. lol.
anyways it was raining just now.. and i noticed how me and my father somehow become cranky everytime it rains on a tuesday. lol it is realli scary to be in the same car as my father when he is cranky. like.. he steps on the pedal totally randomly.. hahahah. and lots of other stuff. on getting out of the car, i walk to the music school and open the door.. and realised i pulled it too hard lol. luckily nothign broke. but on rainy days i somehow just walk arnd like i can walk into a wall and the wall would collapse.

oral experience 11/7
hahah i wonder if moe will find its way here mannz.
aft a morning of complete ponning of classes cos of charity bazaar, the bunch of us HCL dropouts proceeded to the auditorium for o lvl chinese oral. i thot i was the 9th person so wun be so bad rite?
ok for starters i was quite sick liao.. then like 5 pple cut our queue.. i dint get to see the passage until after 2 1/2h. and i din noe u cud visit the toilet lol so i was dying by then. hahah but tts jus the beginning of the story.
the passage was quite okay lah.. but a lot of medical terms. and i nvr see chinese words for a long time.. so quite kanfused.. but managed to get 95% of the words right.
'lao shi wu an' and i sit down.. started reading. not too long into the 2nd paragraph a handphone belonging to one of the examiners on the far right side of the auditorium began to ring. and it was some obiang ringtone lol. forcing myself to press on, i jus concentrate, altho stumbling over every other word. not too long into the third paragraph, the examiner sitting on my left started to blow her nose super hard. (imagine me blowing my nose.. and yah tts wad happened)
the conversations were okay.. I HOPE. the examiners realli acted quite impatient lah. there was one sentence where i jus cudnt put a word at the end of. then one of the examiners finished my sentence for me -.- i think i talked far less than all those hu went b4 me lor.. i think the teachers too kancheong to finish liao.
wah i tell u ar.. if i dun get my distinction (or at least a merit) and my minimum B3, im going to write a complain letter in perfect chinese and gong han style to moe to komplain man. when i reached home and told my mom and tuition teacher abt this, they asked if the examiner hu blew her nose apologised or not.. and of cos not (typical sgrean behaviour.. lol) and they were like.. 'so rude'. hahahah. nvm.. final leg.. listening compre on friday. and there better not be anymore nansense. lol.
wow its been a week liao. prob the longest time i dint blog in a longg time.
this week was absolute havoc lah. monday nite after coming back from going out i fall sick and was realli scared i cudnt go to sch the nxt day cos was IB symposium.. first day is realli impt cos got speakers comign and all. aft sch on tuesday i went to see the doctor. wed went to sch, then went arnd diff parts of sg taking pics. or rather just my hse, my friend's hse at telok blangah, and town. afternoon had mep which lasted 2h and then i went home and tried to do a bit of the project for presentation on friday.
thursday we were supposed to continue on our project but i wasnt wif my grp cos i went to plmgs to try to sell guitar ticks.. i dunno lah. its veri obvious that we cmi.. wif ticks as low as $6 even the guitar members of that sch we approched dint want to buy. was realli worried for the sec 2s wif me.. its not easy to face rejection after rejection.. especially when its ur first time doing stuff. nxt time acs shud jus limit ticket sales to rgs, mgs, and acjc.
after receiving a lift home from plmgs from my teacher, we had prac from 3 - 6, then for me private guitar until 8pm. by then i was too exhausted to think of the project for today.
today i woke up and scolded my group.. they went to watch fantastic 4 after they 'finished' the project. aiyah but watever lah we managed to make it lol. then jus now guitared from 3 - 7 and (finally) went to shawns hse for care team ^^ i have been waiting to see them the whole week. the whole week has been terribly exhausting for me.. and im scared to think wad nxt wk will be like. hahah but it was realli fun to joke arnd wif church frens again. realli has reenergised me. :)
i shall stop here as wad im doing tml is not impt altho u can guess was im doing again. cya all!!
heyy!! its time for another update.
okay. the homework load is still as nuts as ever.. i've been chionging rite until thursday when i basically gave up and went to sleep feeling terrible cos there was lots of homework due the next day. but in the end cos of youth day 'celebrations' all the teachers either didnt come or postponed the deadlines!! hahaha. so i basically spent ytd guitaring from 4 - 7 in sch and today guitaring again from 8 - 1. tts y i cudnt go for movie.. lolz i was yearning to go out!! went to clementi to cut my hair instead. actually it doesnt realli look like it was cut.. and i think it looks a bit obiang lolz. cos i told them to layer my hair and now its quite disproportionate in my opinion lol. okay i shall stop this nonsense.
i was so tired after i came back that i slept from like.. 4 - 7. this week has realli been quite draining for me. after dinner i finished writing 10 letters.. but tts still not complete lolol. still got backstage and deco pple.. another 11 or so letters. i have seriously no time to write hahah. yeap tml is church then see how maybe want to go out and aft tt go home to do hw right into youth day. got lots to do to hand up on tuesday.
okies.. going to do smth else now. if u have time go try the quiz on olivia's blog.. i think its totally hilarious. and im so glad so many pple can make it for my concert on the 15th july (despite there being CL listening compre in teh afternoon). thx a lot guys!!
