today is the last official day for stoning.
stoning is good.. but not for too long. i think if my brain stones for more than half an hour it will start getting sad. and being sad is not a gd thing hahah. so i decided to go buy guitar strings today. when i left the house it wasnt raining but it was quite dark.. but i was like.. heck the umbrella. and guess wad when i reached the bus stop opposite king albert park it was raining. so i waited some time for it to become a drizzle... bought my strings and headed home. now it wasnt raining when i got to the bus stop opposite shawny's house.. but guess what.. when i reached home it was pouring -.- so i waited and waited and just gave up.. hahah and got all wet. of all the days i dun bring an umbrella.
yeap anyways i cleaned out my guitar fretboard today.. it was disgusting.. i think there were dead skin cells that turned black that collected on the fretboard.. along with moss and dust and yucks. hahah it turned my cloth black. and i cant seem to restore my frets to their original shine, regardless of the amt of lemon oil i use.
tml i will be going to st anthony's cannosian sec to help my guitar teacher teach.. must wake up early. in a long time haha. then after that i plan to go home and dump my guitar then head to simei for my class' party. and that is lame cos st anthony's is at bedok.
aft that is thursday to rest.. and then thxgiving party!! stayover to totally reset my biological clock mann.
woke up with the strangest feeling this morning.
woke up at 11:15.. and there was a powerful feeling of peace over me.. the stillness of the morning...
for that half hour after i woke up i felt like there were absolutely no more cares and troubles in the world... everybody loved each other to the fullest and i could love everybody to the fullest cos i cud finally understand them....
veri difficult to explain.. hahah altho all of the above is not possible until heaven. maybe God was letting me feel like i was in heaven, just for a while.
but of course that peace was disrupted by my sis' loud anime. hahah.

hahah yay today was a fun day.. wore my red belt to church!! hahah and i hope you all like my hot chocolate. and thanks to all who wrote me a card or decorated a candle or baked stuff!! it was all really nice hahah. i keep the plastic bag which they gave out at june camps for this year and last year to keep letters and stuff.. and hahah when i compare the 2 plastic bags the one for this year has doubled in size :)
yeap and after reflecting on today i can say that i am (almost) ready to go back to sch. hahah.. i will be praying hard that the friendships forged during this holiday will not be destroyed by school. yeaps and i hope i can continue my spiritual goals.. 15 mins a day is not easy!!!! hahah and memorising 3 verses for the first week was okay.. then plus 3 for this week.. by the end of next week there will be 9 verses in my head!! hahah.. that goal gets harder by the weeks. so charmaine recommended that after 3 months i can spend the nxt 3 months re-memorising everything again. after all, how many of us can remember more than 5 verses we memorised in JBC? lolol.
yeap thats abt it. nxt up.. thxgiving!! hahah.

hello!!
today i went shoe shopping with heng min.. he bought a nice pair of nikes. all who go to queensway beware!! nike has now controlled the amount of discount queensway can give on nike products to 15%.. so stuff is slightly more expensive now. saw quite a lot of nice shoes.. a bumble bee coloured nike shox, yellow asics speedster, the new updated gel landreth II (mine is gel landreth I hahah), new balance 900, and a new red coloured new balance 901. but i dont think i will buy the new balance models.. they have practically no arch. arches are impt. mhmm. but i dun think i will be buying a new pair of shoes for another year unless my asics happen to catch fire or something. lol.
after that went to ikea.. ikea is a nice place to get cheap but reasonable looking furniture. was looking for a nice chair for me to play guitar.. but i think my current one (also from ikea) is still ok. hahah nothing matches my vision of a bright red chair, slightly textured and inviting with no arm barriers, correct height, all inviting to play guitar!! hahah maybe i shud make my own. so i bought a set of cards instead. and its seriously not worth it to queue up just to pay for a set of cards. shud come mass shopping with my family sometime hahah.

youth camp
HELLO!!! we are back from youth camp!!
i shall write a write-up of the camp so i can come back and read it and remember the times hahah.
okay firstly, i was already veri tired to begin with. cudnt sleep the nite b4 the first day of the camp and reached there veri tired after lugging my stuff along with the song books into sentosa. the pre-camp briefing by irvin said that we shud not complain!!! hahah and i was really scared i might.
first, there was welcoming the campers. they came in 3 grps.. 1st grp the biggest and 2 more smaller groups. and we started with camp briefing and angel mortal picking. muhahahah i got candice as my mortal. and i failed to disguise my identity hahahah. so it was obvious to her by the first letter it was me. and also my angel was my june camp mortal. hahah. and i made the big mistake again of writing to my angel not as the mortal hahah.. so in june camp charmaine wrote 5 letters to me in total haha. yeaps. then had ice breakers and checking into our rooms.

check out this piano too.. look at the keys on the extreme right and compare it with a normal piano u have at home. spooky eh? hahah and the whole piano is out of tune by a semitone.
yeap but anyway cannot complain rite? so smile!! lolz. games that afternoon.. was quite okay.. first game was making the disgusting sandwich out of a mass of seasonings and spicy stuff and dunnowat lolol and we had to eat it, 
and second was transferring water where every group cheated. the lesson on the first nite was an intro by kelvin and goal setting. i must remember to carry out my goals that i set!! hahah. but will need God's help.. my goals i've found are as not as straightforward as they look.
second day we woke up at 530am for prayer walk. 
hahah i dint really plan the route that well so i was making it up as we went along, but i think it was quite okay, nice scenery and atmosphere to talk to God. following prayer walk were lessons on character and relationships. highlights: irvin's 'uncle adrian-ishque' diagram and Jesus' great love for His disciples.
that afternoon was dirty games @ the beach. the game that intrigued me the most was the game where we were supposed to peel the oranges and transfer them from one end to the other using only our feet. like totally gross and retarded. i like. the other game was where we all got flour caked to our clothes. hahah.
that night's lesson was on crisis, and i was really touched by the story of Horatio and the hymn 'it is well with my soul'.
day 3 morning was uncle lee hock's lesson on career, and it was realli interesting. my personality type is ISTJ!! hahah. very very interesting. and now i am starting to see the purpose for me playing guitar.. to have time to myself to recharge my energy. also requires a great deal of T(hinker) and J(udger) (the elements of gniao-ness lol how u spell it) to increase in technical ability. so guitar will be a big part of my life even tho i might not teach guitar!! yay.
day 3 afternoon saw the replay of my game invention (well maybe i dint invent it, but i found it on the net) of body parts musical chairs!! hahah my favourite body part for that game was 'someone elses brown hair' hahah. dint noe there were so many pple in the youth hu went to dye hair. then was the presentation of mtv parody!! lolol. quite glad my group managed to work together despite our large age differences to make a realli spastic dance.

later that night was the lesson summary then the skits!! hahah i think my group's skit was great!! hahah it was nice pure innocent content made funny ^^ 'yoyo farmer in the dell!!'
night tour!! hahah that alley 'feng shui' quite good.. managed to score 111 and 127!! yay!! but of cos due to some faults in the computing system lah. after that we went to lau pa sat to eat stuff and listen to pirated music lolol. returned back to hostel and tried to stay up by writing letters 
but failed at the 5am mark. lol. i was afraid i wudnt make it out of the island alive if i dint sleep.
woke up at 830 due to a stomachache. lol. nasty. clean up, and we were off for home!!
okay i shall update this when i have more jing shen.. i am trying to stay up until at least 630 or 7pm tonite. 
thank God for a gd youth camp!! youth camps rock!! :)
hello!!
youth camp is drawing nearer!! and things are looking better. past few days have been really busy but i think we are really ready for a gd camp now. i shall look out for a few new pple to talk to :)
i realli hope i can fall asleep earlier tonite. have not been sleeping properly for quite long hahah. yeaps. will be relaxing tml.. a long awaited rest hahah.
