after 3 days of non stop chionging, Chen Yi has finally given up.
every year when sch starts, i will have a chionging spree to keep homework from piling up on me for as long as possible. on average it lasts abt 3 weeks.
for semester 2 of 2005 it has officially lasted 3 days.

on monday language arts teacher asks for ERP assignment due next wednesday.

on tuesday chem teacher asks for chem article due on thursday. chem teacher also gives out worksheet to be due on thursday.
core maths teacher asks for holiday testpaper due on friday.
language arts teacher reminds us abt chapter analysis presentation for me on friday.

on wednesday core maths teacher gives extention to next tuesday. yippee.
physics teacher asks for physics holiday testpaper to be due on friday.
Oh and class teacher also says subject option forms should be in on thursday, tts tml.
Chen Yi comes home to chiong physics testpaper and after doing half of paper 2 arrives in front of the com puking from the amount of homework that Chen Yi has to do. Chen Yi feels depressed.

now i noe why the express stream did so badly for mid years. veri soon the a maths teacher will be demanding his testpaper too and Chen Yi will collapse from stress. hurray.
heyy. first day of sch wasnt so bad.
today was kinda slack.. cos got some super long principals message.. then got a bit of integration revision.. and then PE where we played tennis using table tennis bats.. then slacked thru 2 lang arts classes and free geog. then another slack PC talk. bargh but this week theres st johns day!! on friday.. and unfortunately i havent quit st johns yet. well this year no need to march for once.. but i dunno wad will be going on.. and i also dun even noe if i will get promoted or not.. most likely not in my opinion. if im not getting promoted then im just in st johns so that i can keep my sgt rank and try not to get demerit points so i can get my guitar honours day award :))
i dunno but im still feeling veri awake now at 10:20.. just finished 1 lang arts assignment and gave up after doing 2 qns of a math. went to play guitar until my whole arm cramped and here i am lolol. okay this is so boliao.

today was quite fun.. hahah this morning my father told me tt uncle henry wanted the youth to present some songs b4 worship started hahah so we dug out the lyrics out of our memory and sang again. everybody was realli rusty.. including me hahah. oh.. and i managed to give out 22 out of the 24 letters i wrote ytd.. hahah. nxt will hope to give out more ^^ after church we went to far east plaza to eat.. i ordered some $3 wonton noodle.. then they anyhow put the chilli.. i ate 3 mouthfuls then cannot take it liao lolz.
hmm.. im sitting here feeling quite sad the hols have ended. as i said, this is the 3rd hols i realli enjoyed with the youth. i dunno.. but i feel its getting a bit harder to keep that flame alive in me. sch seems so uncertain ahead of me.. and i dun noe how much time i will have when sch reopens. also looming are the final year exams, and i think much catching up on semester 1's work. just some of the fears i have of what lies ahead. hmm blogging has made me realise how uncertain life is.. but we have God to trust, and we know that he has shaped each and every day of our life so that we would be more like Him. i was thinking that if i just go back to sch the same old me i was.. then this hols wud have been completely wasted. i think i have definitely changed lots over this hols.. hahah besides becoming more siao.
okay then.. will be going to sleep now altho it isnt even 10 yet. wish all the J1s all the best in exams!!
hey again all!!! hahahahah im feeling kinda high now.. just managed to write all the letters for the choir pple!! in 1 day!! woohoo. hahah.. but that leaves homework rather incomplete.. but doesnt matter.. cos no one actually makes it thru all their hol hw.
hmm.. sch is starting in 2 days and of cos im not ready for it. somehow last year i was content with my holidays and felt like going back to sch cos tt was the hols which i grew the most. learnt a lot abt the youth, and was the first time i felt that i spent my hols meaningfully. This year however is bittersweet... having a major role in leading the open house really changes your perspective of the youth group, and also demands much more energy and time. anyways, after having gone thru 3 great holidays with the youth, i am as reluctant as i was in december to go back to school. maybe its just my inability to accept studies as a responsibility.
anyways, i din realli do much today.. jus 1 1/2 qns of maths and 200 words of my lang arts project.. hahah basically spent the whole day writing stuff and sneezing. oh and just now me and my family went out to orchard to have dinner. we went to this jap restaurant at paragon.. some soba thing.. and realised everything was so ex!! lolz. i ate noodles wif tempura.. was veri gd (: aft tt went to kinokunya to buy the envelopes.
yeap.. im looking for pple to attend my guitar concert on 15 july 7:30.. tickets @ $10.. acsi centre for performing arts. i'll be practising real hard. hope as many of yall can watch as possible.. look out for my solos!! :P

just finished a long day after guitar prac from 10 - 6 (ergh) and went for wed bible class after that... where my father obtained the OPEN HOUSE DVD!!! muahahahahah.. i got to watch b4 u all!! altho everybody was going siao after the performance, i was thoroughly exhausted from all the preparations. hahahah i honestly could not understand why everybody was so siao.
watching this video and seeing the full picture has realli helped me to see God's love spreading like wildfire thru all our singing and the fantastic testimonies that dint realli get across to me that effectively while i was backstage. furthermore i was quite tired and worrying abt my testimony which was the last!! hahah so i dint realli catch wad mag and nina, and wad shawn were saying in their testimonies!! hahahah.. but had a gd laff from shawn's one just now. 'made the devil cry'.. lolol.
yeapp.. so now u can say that my joy is complete!! after all that hard work and preparation, all that revising of the list of pple to thank, all that straining of my bass voice to teach the tenors their parts, it has all paid off, and i would do it again, anytime.
will be bringing the dvd to shawn's hse on friday (if i remember to) so that u all can watch!! hahah.. and its still full of nehe's errors. dun be surprised if ur name appears somewhere and its spelt wrongly. lolol.

after 2 weeks of non-stop rehearsing, singing, straining voices (well mine was), spending time together, cracking lame jokes (especially shawn :P), going siao. last night was a big climax which marked the end of another successful term of youth group bonding :)
i woke up at 10:30 and dragged myself to angmohkio for guitar class at 12, then came back, and slept somemore, from 2:30 till now, 5pm. loll. my biological clock is SO spoilt.
hai. altho there still is one more week of june hols left, i feel like school has already started. im realli realli reluctant to leave these 2 sheltered weeks of hols spent together wif u all, cos i noe when sch reopens we will all once again be caught up wif sch work, stress, and there will be some drifting. hmm but no matter how scared i am to reenter school life, i know that i have definitely grown stronger this 2 weeks and maybe that will keep me afloat in the sea of schwork.
ah well these 2 weeks cudnt have lasted forever. but anyways, its a taste of heaven for me on earth.

hey there. anyone missed me?
i havent been blogging for a long time.. cos i was working.. practically no heart to blog liao lolz. but.. im finally retrenched!! i wonder when we will get our pay lol.. anyway the experience at hyatt wud be an unforgettable one.. when i went to kfc to by dinner on friday nite, at first i jus act the usual way i do.. until i remembered how long the cashier cud hav been standing. yeah.. now everytime pple hold lift door for me i try to say tq.. last time i nvr lolol. yeah.. has taught me a lot.
todays singing practice was great!! yay haha.. now we hav abt 2 or 3 more songs to learn!! and church camp is coming soon!!! being isolated for 4 days wif ur church frens is a great way to bond much better. yeapss.. looking forward to it. but for now.. its back to responsibility of playing guitar.. and i wan to try to get 1 more pair of shorts to wear at church camp. and now i got 2 guitars missing 1st strings.. mus go buy. lolol. kk.. cya!!
