it's been really nice to have a long weekend to rest. especially when theres (close to) no homework!!! friday night there was HoF, then went to esplanade library on saturday afternoon to get some music research done (esplanade library isnt exactly the most exhaustive place to find resources tho) and singspiration ytd nite.
at times like this in the school term, where assignments simply pile up with almost no room to breathe, and work gets ever so monotonous, the question of our purpose in life pops up again. what exactly are we living for. hahah for the past years, when i got that feeling, i just looked forward to holidays. but of cos when the holidays came, i was like.. siann... thats when F W E D M comes in again. we were put here for a purpose.
2 more weeks to march hols. lol.
anyways, i think the lesson on heart clearing was really relevant, altho i was still struggling with some issues. how important it is to see the world as it really is. but of cos many times we are disillusioned becos of our high expectations. i think one very good example would be the world's view of love. all those hollywood sleazy movie scenes, and also not to mention jay chou's fantasy world. i have been looking back on the 22nd jan list of 'what i look for in a girl' (lol) entry and there is an extra point i want to add: must be a good friend. yeap.
